Children will learn the alphabet through synthetic phonics, which is the recognition of letters and sounds to prepare them to start reading. If any children show readiness, they will also be introduced to sight words.

To accommodate each child’s learning style (visual, auditory, kinaesthetic), we incorporate different English phonics programs into our curriculum. More specifically, we use Jolly Phonics, which focuses on each sound and incorporates levelled learning and songs for each sound. We also use Actiphons, a program designed specifically for kinaesthetic learners to teach letter sounds and combat the growing problem of childhood obesity.

For Arabic phonics, we use Haroof, an Arabic phonics program developed by Kalimat, a UAE based, award-winning publisher dedicated to publishing Arabic children’s books and phonics and reading programs.
